Welcome to Decaphone. By downloading, installing, or using the Decaphone mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. These Terms are updated with application version updates. By updating the App to a new version or continuing to use the App after an update, you automatically consent to the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Services and Monetization
DecaPhone provides a platform for text chat, audio/video calls, and public content posting.
- Professional Services: The App allows professionals, content creators, and influencers ("Creators") to earn money by cooperating with local Agents. The App sends the ongoing audio/video calls statistics (rate, duration, heartbeat) to the local Agents which handles the charging services by themselves.
- Platform Fees: Users don’t pay for using all the services provided by Decaphone.
- Payouts: The platform offers the users the option to place a push order to push from their respective local Agents to one of the locally available mobile money operators. Payouts are subject to the terms, fees, and availability of these third-party operators.
5. User Conduct and Content Standards
You are solely responsible for the content you post, send, or transmit via the App. You agree to adhere to the following Community Standards:
- Ethical Use: Content must be ethical and lawful.
- No Bullying or Harassment: You may not use the App to bully, harass, threaten, or intimidate others.
- Copyright: You must not post content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.
- Prohibited Content: Hate speech, violence, nudity, illegal activities, and spam are strictly prohibited.
6. Account Deactivation and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or deactivate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or our Community Standards. This includes, but is not limited to, posting inappropriate content, bullying, or fraudulent activity.
7. Privacy and Data Security
Your privacy is important to us.
- Private Conversations: Private text, audio, and video conversations between users are kept private.
- Server Reliance: Our data is stored on Google's servers (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud). While we implement standard security measures, we rely heavily on Google's infrastructure security. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with internet-based data transmission and storage.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. DecaPhone makes no warranties regarding the reliability, timeliness, or availability of the services. We are not liable for:
- Any errors or downtime caused by third-party service providers (including Google Servers or Mobile Money Operators).
- Any disputes between users or between users and Mobile Money Operators/ Agents regarding paid services or content.
- Any unauthorized access to your data resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DecaPhone operates.

- Set up call with your personal details and send call heartbeat to your active local agent.
- Enforce our Terms and Conditions and Community Standards.

- Google Servers: Your data, including private conversations and media files, is stored on secure servers provided by Google (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud Platform).
- Security Reliance: We rely on Google's industry-standard security measures to protect your data. While we take reasonable steps to secure your account, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
- Private Conversations: We do not share your private text, audio, or video conversations with third parties, advertisers, or the public, except as required by law.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With Mobile Money Operators to facilitate financial transactions (payouts/payments).
- Legal Requirements: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
- Enforcement: To investigate potential violations of our Terms and Conditions (e.g., bullying, fraud).
6. User Generated Content
Content you post to public areas of the App (e.g., public feeds) is visible to other users. You should exercise caution when disclosing personal information in public areas.
7. Account Deactivation and Data Retention
If your account is deactivated due to a violation of our standards, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention). You may request the deletion of your account and associated data through the App settings.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
